If teachers were robots


[Teacher 1 walks down hall with stilted, rhythmic footsteps, students milling about]

Teacher 1: [stops suddenly, stretching out arm to stop a student] Jenny Jones, skirt .5 inches too short. Detention after school.

[Teacher 1 continues down hallway and enters classroom full of students]

Teacher 1: Papers in.

-Lisa, Jerry. Phones now disabled. Detention for texting.

[glances down at packet in front of student.] Kevin. Scribbling words on the first page does not suffice. 23rd incompletion of homework.

[nerd muttering furiously under breath with calculator in hand. Smiles. ] Now disabled.

Teacher: Have a good day, class. No homework.

[leaves.]

spring theatre project
