Bargaining

Props: table, a shirt and money

Customer: (awkwardly walks in) hey

Storeowner: hey how are you today?

Customer: (quick response) good… do you have any plaid shirts on sale?

Storeowner: umm no, I’m afraid we don’t have any sales today.

Customer: (walks around, awkward silent store, walks back to the storeowner) well… how much are these plaid shirts?

Storeowner: well they are $30 dollars each, but if you get two of them they are $55.

Customer: well… I think I’m gonna go check out that store across the street. I heard they have a sale

Storeowner: I think we can work something out… how about you look around pick something out I’ll lower the price.

Customer: ok, give me a minute

(customer walks around finds something)

customer: how much for this shirt?

Storeowner: $35

Customer: nope

Storeowner: $30

Customer: I think I’m going to leave now

Storeowner: $27 take it, or leave

Customer: deal

(customer walks out happily)

storeowner: good thing that shirt was only 5 dollars in the sale section
