Patience

The actor walks onto stage holding a clementine and sits (on a chair if one is available). He (or she) slowly eats it one slice at a time (if you are worried about making a mess, the actor could eat over a plate or just use a prop). When he is finished, he speaks the only line in the play:

“If you watched this whole play, congrats. Your reward is this peel. Next time, you should ask for a piece of the fruit.”

Note: the message of this play is not that patience is good!

  1. Is there a fruit theme this year? Maybe we don't mention the orange rolling across the stage next time.
