Impressive Wizardry

Curtains Open:

A man in a black suit is standing in the middle of the stage holding a candle (pre-lit). He looks around, puzzled and confused. After a brief period of time he takes a slow, deep, exaggerated breath and then blows the candle out with a light puff. He then sets the candle down, takes a bow as if he was receiving a standing ovation at an opera house full of people (although his face is emotionless), and proceeds to walk offstage very casually with his hands in his pockets while whistling the tune World’s Greatest (the part “I’m that star up in the sky, I’m that mountain peak up high. Hey I made it, I’m the world’s greatest.”

The candle remains on the floor where he stood.

The curtains close after a little period of hesitation.
