[Two characters enter a mock store of some sort. Ideally, we would have some sort of mock checkout counter with a cashier and some store shelving. The shelves should have only one item on them, and it really doesn't matter what that item is. It is probably best if it is some sort of household product or staple. Food/drinks are also a good option. The two characters entering the store enter from opposite ends of the aisle, walk down it, and on their way to take the item they bump into each other.]
Char1: Oh, sorry.
Char2: Me too...
[Both go to reach for the item, and each block each other as they try to get it.
Char 2: Oh, I see what it is...
Char 1: We both want the [name of item], and there's only one left...what to do?
Char2: Rock, paper, scissors for it?
Char1 [hesitantly] :OK, all right. Let's go...best two out of three?
Char2: Of course...
[Char1 and Char2 simultaneously]
Char1: Rock, paper, scissors, shoot.
Char2: Rock paper, scissors, one, two, three.
Char1: Oops...we should have planned this...
Char2: Rock paper scissor, one, two, three OK with you?
Char1: All right, lets go...
Char1 and Char2: Rock, paper, scissors, one two three!
Char2[wins, pumping fist]: YES!
Char1 and Char2: Rock, paper, scissors, one two three!
Char1 [wins again, jumps]: Woohooo!
Char2: Here we go.
[Char1 and Char2 continue to play rock, paper, scissors, until about 15 seconds remain in the two minutes, using a predetermined sequence so they will always use the same move. They move slightly away from the shelves and dramatic battle music begins to play as the battle intensifies. They continue to play, but no one wins. Finally, as the play is nearly owner, Char2 finally wins. Players can use dramatic rock, paper, scissors sequences such as slow motion or strongly exaggerated moves, such as a combination of kung fu and rock paper scissors. Both characters can put on headbands, bandanas, or other props as the game intensifies. However, as the two are playing rock, paper, scissors, a third character enters the store, and takes the item from the shelf and goes to the cashier and purchases it and then leaves the store. Neither character notices.]
Char2: Yes! Yes! Yes! [jumps excitedly around stage in expression of victory]
[Char2 skips happily back towards the store shelf, only to find that the item is gone. Looks at the ground dejectedly. Curtain]
