Romeo and Juliet

(A person dressed as Romeo in ridiculously overdone garb walks onto stage and begins a monologue, this person should be sophomore Sam Hatcher, trust me. The point is to make it look like a part of the program that goes awry)

ROMEO: Today I will be performing a monologue from Romeo and Juliet

But soft! What light through yonder window breaks?

It is the East, and Juliet is the sun!

Umm, uh, line (in a stage whisper)

CAST MEMBER (In stage whisper): Arise, fair sun

ROMEO: Yeah, Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon,

Who is already sick and pale with grief

That thou her maid art far more fair than she.

Be not her maid, since she is envious.

Her vestal livery is but sick and green,

Uhhhh, dammit, line, line line (Stage Whisper)

Runs offstage

CAST MEMBER (walks onto stage): We really apologize for that
