My version of Midnight

Man sits down on couch and picks up a piece of paper)

Man reads: You will die…(flips paper over)…at Midnight!

(Runs around screaming like a lunatic for a while)

(He stops and hears a sharp tapping sound. Looking around, he runs up to the lamp and stops the wire from tapping against a table which stops the sound. He breathes deeply and his face is the very picture of fear and agony)

(Static sound)

(Man looks around wildly and runs and turns off the radio)

(Footsteps)

(Man crouches in a corner and sees the window flapping in the wind, which stops the footsteps.)

(He goes back to the couch and picks up the piece of paper and unfolds it all the way)

Man reads: You will die…when you hear where former president George W. Bush went at midnight!
